[Aoi's not purposefully aiming to offend the kid, but he's not going out of his way to be tackful, either. He's just calling 'em how he sees 'em.]

[ He glares a little at that comment, but it's not wrong. Waver's weak and can barely even do magic. He wouldn't stand a chance. He still huffs in offense though. ]

[ but then his eyes widen a little and he flushes. ]

[Aoi just raises an eyebrow and gives him a disbelieving stare.]

[Well, Aoi's teleported him, and he's warned him about the places that could be potentially dangerous. Seems like his neighborly duty has been done. Still, he feels a little bad about leaving this totally-an-adult newcomer to fend for himself.]

Do you know what house you're in? I can point you in right direction if you want.

[Aoi raises an eyebrow.]

Yeah, they'll put you up in a place for, like, a month so you can get your feet, then you gotta start pulling your weight and paying rent. You can move or stay where you're at.

[He starts walking and waves for the kid to follow.]

You'll find out which house you're in when we get to the Residential District. They've got name tags.

[Just the worst name tags, but why spoil the surprise?]

[ So he'll have to find a job. Interesting, since he's never had one before. He just cast a memory manipulation spell on some unsuspecting old people and got free rent that way...That may not work here.

[Fleecing his roommates is a valid option, so Waver might not have to get a job. Aoi knows a few layabouts who sponge off their friends.]
