[ Waver swishes his hand a little in the water, even laughing a little bit as he does so. It's really a strange sensation, because he's not sure what he's so happy about. He certainly doesn't feel like he has much to be this happy about. And yet here he is.
He removes his hand after a moment, his smile fading away into something serious. then he dips his hand back in, and it's back. Yep, the water is definitely doing this to him. ]
I feel...good. Really good. And happy?
[ This is surely not a terrible side effect to pay for in exchange for getting a crystal or two right? ]
[It's only a terrible side-effect if Waver discovers any other effects that the Anisotoron hadn't experienced in his experiments.]
Happy? Yes, I felt that as well. ['Happy' is an oversimplification of how he'd felt, but with such a gap between his own perception and that of humanity, he cannot possibly find any other descriptor for the euphoric feeling he'd experienced other than 'happiness.' It would be as the dilemma of 'is the color blue that I see the same as the one you see?']
However, you will have to submerge more than your hand to retrieve the crystals. [His eyes are drawn back to the glittering jewels at the bottom of the pool, though he has no intention of collecting them for himself, he is curious to see how this human's physiology will respond to further contact.]
[ Waver is unable to suppress a laugh as he sticks his hand in the water, feeling his heart lighten to a state he's rarely felt before. He laughs again before taking his non-submerged hand and putting it over his mouth. Embarrassing... ]
It could be worse... [ he mutters, cheeks a little pink, though he's soon smiling again.
The man has a point, though. He has to put more than just a hand in the water to be able to reach the crystals. He withdraws his hand from the water and frowns finally, nodding his head. ] Yes, I'll have to go in ... but I'm sure I can handle it.
If I can't.... [ Would this person help him get out? He knows he can't ask that of a stranger, and yet, strangers are all he has anymore. ]
